TA, seems high? They make an interesting point though. That's like RCM mintage numbers.....that's some rare coinage!

This set became available for sale at the Mint on July 2, was available for about 3 weeks and not for sale since- almost 2 months later. With reported sales of (including 453 sets) 599 1 oz, 579 1/2 oz, 651 1/4 oz, and 1165 1/10th oz- these are shaping up to be another low pop edition and you just don't and probably won't see many sets available for sale on the aftermarket. There are just too many "what if's" for possible upside potential and a brutally beaten down spot price on the down side risk. Ultimately, you can't buy what isn't for sale and Mint isn't tipping their hand either.

That all well and good about the low mintage numbers but I can almost Guarantee they will NEVER see the premium that they paid for it.

It Plat goes to 5k a ounce do you REALLY see someone coughing up another 7k for numi factor on a BULLION COIN??

Come on .........who is fooling who??

My opinion is to stay with the bullion coins. Before, as the prices were rising to $2,000, the premiums disappeared all together.
Bad bet!

I think that those will end up being key dates that command a significant premium later on, but I am not putting my money where my mouth is and buying them. All my spare change is going into Canroys right now.
